Ranchmama Rides again!

Riding with the grandkids is a lot of fun. The chance doesn't come around every week but when it does--we grab it. Christian had come down from SLC to take a breather from school and he and Nathan really wanted to go riding, but that entailed taking Jacob . It was Jacob's birthday coming up in a week and he really wanted to go and so we grabbed the gear and headed out to the Redrock area.

It actually was a little windy but the boys didn't seem to mind. We packed a lunch and only took 4 horses-- Steve traded off with me and Christian on Chamois and Duchess. He ended up walking quite a bit because even though I buddied up with Jacob --Jacob really wanted to ride all by himself. He does really well on little Cocomotion-- who always is the easiest to ride. She is small and a little scruffy, but she has a big heart and a lot of grit and never seems to mind having two on her back if necessary.
